IL DOLCE CORPO DI DEBORAH è uno dei primi giallo a tinte sexy datato 1968 la cui splendida colonna sonora è opera di Nora Orlandi, compositrice, violinista, pianista, autrice e cantante nata a Voghera. Lo stile della Orlandi nel genere giallo è inconfondibile, con un uso compositivo di intervalli di semitoni accentuati da vocalizzi e tappeto sonoro a volte di piano e altre di organo hammond distorto, il tutto condito con ritmica jazz. L’orchestrazione è curata da Robby Poitevin e le voci, oltre a quella della stessa Nora, sono della sorella Paola e di Tony nello sfrenato shake-beat “I Robot”.

L’album si presenta graficamente come l’originale uscito su CAM ma con ben 4 bonus track aggiuntive. Audio riversato dai master tapes originali in full stereo.

Tre anni più tardi Nora Orlandi, nel 1971, realizzerà l’altro suo capolavoro nel genere giallo "Lo strano vizio della Signora Wardh" di cui un brano è finito in Kill Bill 2 di Tarantino.

IL DOLCE CORPO DI DEBORAH (THE SWEET BODY OF DEBORAH) is an early giallo movie with sexual coloring dated 1968 and the wonderful soundtrack is by Nora Orlandi, composer, violinist, pianist and singer born in Voghera (North Italy). The style of the giallo/thriller soundtracks of Orlandi is unmistakable, with a compositional use of semitone intervals accentuated by vocalizing and sound carpet of piano or distorted Hammond organ, all seasoned with rhythmic jazz. The orchestration is by Robby Poitevin and voices, as well as that of Nora itself, are of the sister Paola and Tony in the wild shake-beat "I Robot".

The album is presented graphically as the original came out to CAM but with 4 additional bonus tracks. Audio poured from the original master tapes in full stereo.

Three years later, Nora Orlandi, in 1971, will carry out his other masterpiece LO STRANO VIZIO DELLA SIGNORA WARDH (The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh) of which a song is finished in Kill Bill 2 Tarantino.
